PROXIMITY SWITCHES

Proximity switches are designed to be very rugged and operate at an ocean depth of 10,000 feet. Each standard switch is capable of operating at 0.5 amps @ 200 VDC, with 3.0 amps available upon request. The switch is constructed using a high quality Rhodium contact and is totally protected from the environment by neoprene overmolding. Various mounting and output options are available. Diver actuated proximity switches are also available in both rotary and push-button versions utilizing the same rugged construction and proven technology.

JUNCTION BOXES

Junction boxes are available in a variety of design configurations providing the user with a wide range of options to fit nearly every unique subsea application. Junction box housings, capable of operating at full ocean depth, can be designed for either pressure resisting or pressure balanced concepts and can incorporate a variety of wet-mateable underwater connectors. The junction boxes are provided utilizing molded neoprene rubber, polyurethane, or 316 SST metal housing, and can be provided with oil-filled pressure balanced features. A wide range of cable, or underwater connector input/output options, also are available various mounting concepts.

CABLE ASSEMBLIES & PENETRATORS

Underwater systems has vast experience in the design and construction of custom cable assemblies and hull or bulkhead mounting penetrators. We specialize in the over-mold termination of connectors to numerous cable materials such as; neoprene, hypalon, polyurethane, polyethylene, viton, pvc and hydril. The cable assemblies can be provided in any length, number of conductors, single or multiple breakouts, and coil cords. The penetrators can be provided to operate at full ocean depth and are available in a wide range of materials and mounting configurations.
